Grading Policy

Our grading policy outlines the criteria for assessing student performance in each subject area. It includes information on grading scales, assessments, and reporting periods.

a. Grading Scales

Kindergarten – Grade 2:

  • O – Outstanding: Student consistently exceeds grade-level objectives
  • S – Satisfactory: Student consistently meets grade-level objectives
  • P – Progressing: Student shows inconsistent performance on grade-level objectives
  • N – Needs Improvement: Student experiences difficulty meeting grade-level standards
  • U – Unsatisfactory: Student does not meet grade-level standards and objectives
  • F – Fail: Not evaluated at this time

Grades 3 – 12:

77–79 C+ 2.0 Average / Satisfactory
73–76 C

64–66 D
< 64 F 0.0 Unsatisfactory / Failing

b. Report Periods

  • First Quarter
  • Second Quarter
  • Third Quarter
  • Fourth Quarter
  • Second Semester

Parents will report to school to sign the report. For middle school and high school students, report cards will be mailed home.
