Infants or Babies Program

6 Weeks - 12 Months
Infants enhance self-awareness, sensory experiences, observations, and curiosities.
Infants construct own informal knowledge through exploration and discovery.
Infants acquire fundamental concepts, strategies, and skills through activities and learning.
 

Toddler Program

Ages 1 - 2
Toddlers discover how things work, what things do, and what they can make happen.
Toddlers learn to engage in physical, natural, and social worlds by observing, manipulating, and exploring.
Toddlers learn to relate to peers and educators.

Early Intervention Program

Ages 3 - 5
Our Early Intervention Program focuses on providing comprehensive support and early intervention services for children ages 3 to 5 with developmental delays or disabilities.
Subjects: Developmental milestones, early literacy, numeracy, social skills development.
Extracurricular Activities: Sensory play, music therapy, art therapy, gross motor activities.

Elementary School Program

Grades K - 5
Our Elementary School Program offers a tailored curriculum designed to meet the diverse learning needs of students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Subjects: Reading, writing, math, science, social studies, adapted physical education.
Extracurricular Activities: Adaptive sports, drama club, gardening club, inclusive art classes.

Middle School Program

Grades 6 - 8
Our Middle School Program provides a supportive and engaging learning environment for students in grades six through eight, focusing on academic growth and social-emotional development.
Subjects: Core academic subjects, life skills, career exploration, technology skills.
Extracurricular Activities: Robotics club, cooking classes, community service projects, leadership development.

High School Program

Grades 9 - 12
Our High School Program prepares students for the transition to adulthood and post-secondary education or employment, offering a rigorous curriculum and personalized support services.
Subjects: College preparatory courses, vocational training, independent living skills, transition planning.
Extracurricular Activities: Job shadowing, internship opportunities, peer mentoring, college readiness workshops.

Special Education Program

All Grade Levels

Star Light School provides education for students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment possible, based on individual strengths and challenges.
Special Class Programs: Autism, Speech & Language, Vision and Hearing, and Behavioral Interventions are offered in addition to the regular schedule.
Activities Skills: coping, daily living, social, reading and writing, visual and perceptual and Motor skills
Related Services: Support includes speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, vision/hearing services, counseling, and psychological interventions as needed.
